I've had a nano for over a month. It's really great; I can carry all my favorite vg mixes with me everywhere. I used to burn them onto cds, which didn't work out too well because I used up like 12 cds without paying for them. My sister kept making me feel guilty about them.
So I bought an iPod and it's amazing. Great sound quality, incredibly small. I take it with me to school to listen on the bus and on my walk home (I get off the bus a block from my house because it's faster).
Anyone else have one? If so, what do you put on it? I just have a ton of video game remixes (Kirby, Metroid, Mario, and Zelda) and I also pulled some of my favorite songs from the OOT, MM and TWW soundtracks.

I've got a Shuffle, and they're not bad. Loaded with metal (Metallica, Cradle Of Filth, Nightwish, Megadeth, Disturbed, let's see, about fifty tracks), rock (The Offspring, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, about forty tracks, since I've got the entirety of The Wall, Dark Side Of The Moon, Meddle, Atom Heart Mother, and Wish You Were Here on it, plus half of Back In Black, The Razor's Edge and The Offspring (Greatest Hits)), some anime music (a few tracks from Cowboy Bebop and Inuyasha, four tracks), and some video game stuff (OCReMix stuff, incuding such as Castlevania, Zelda, and Donkey Kong Country, that Smashing...Live! CD I got from NP about three years ago, all together, about fifty tracks). So, see, I balance my stuff out. It's not healthy to dose all on video games.

It's not healthy to dose all on video games. Don't say that! Lol I'm getting one soon and I'll put most of my music library on it which mainly consists of Zelda and Mario remixes. I have a few songs from artists and such on there but not a lot.

It's not healthy to have only crap music like the whole world.
J/k. But you still suck if you don't like vg music.
Personally I'd hate a shuffle. You can't even choose which song to listen to, can you? That sucks pretty bad.

Yeah, you can. You just have to know the layout. And I don't use iTunes, so I keep my order memorized. Never said I didn't like game music.

I know, I never said you didn't either. I just meant people in general suck if they don't like vg music. But's everyone's entitled to thier own opinions. They can suck if they want to.

I think if you like a song it shouldn't matter where it came from.

Yeah, totally. It's like, "I don't like cheese because it came from Wisconsin." "What the **** does that have to do with anything?"

What the crap does cheese have to do with anything?
If you like songs that didn't come from a video game, I feel sorry for you. There's nothing good out there nowadays. Come to think of it, there never was. Sorry, I just don't see how anyone can like all the crap out there. Any rock that isn't from a video game usually has horrible "singing" going along with it that completely destroys what would be a really decent song. Rap and country? Ok, that's gone too far. Whoever invented those genres, I don't want to know what they were smoking!
Only music I like that isn't from a video game is from a movie soundtracks. Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings have excellent soundtracks.

There is nothing like going to a concert. The crowds, the thrill, the massive lines on the way out, getting home past 12am. Really makes you feel like a teenager.
VG music will always be my fav but you can't beat a good gig.
