Hey guys, if you've wondered how to make remixes, there's a way to make MIDIs for free. All you have to do is go to Anvil Studio and download the program, it's not a trial either, lasts forever. On there, you can put down notes, add instruments, and play around with stuff. This is what I use to make my remixes. (hoping to get one on vgmusic's archives soon!) Yeah, when you're done with your song, you can upload it to Vgmusic or, join the forums, and upload your music in the Music Composition and Critique board, and nice people will critique your stuff. Of course this last paragraph is assuming you made something video game related. If you have any questions about the program or uploading, ask here!

Yes, I use it. Nice and easy. I guess I've made some pretty good ones, the vgmusic members like them anyway. Note: You can choose between Piano Roll (a sort of graph that you click on to make notes) and Staff (a musical staff, you use a keyboard on the screen to place notes). I use the piano roll, I'm used to it, it's a lot easier for me since I can't read musical staffs.
